Biography

I am originally from the Chicago area and relocated to Western Massachusetts in 2009. I spend as much time as possible in upstate New York at the same small lake where my grandparents bought a cabin in the 1940’s. Growing up spending time at the lake created a love for the outdoors that led me to study biology (BS Bucknell University 1991). I continued my education in ecology at Binghamton University (MA 1995). While raising 3 children, my creative life included floral design, graphic design, and photography. I am currently a studio monitor and faculty member at Zea Mays Printmaking in Florence, MA. My current practice involves combining photography and drawing through polymer intaglio printmaking. My work has been exhibited nationally and internationally. When not in the studio you can probably find me at the lake with my dog.
