I was born in LaGrange, Illinois in 1969. I have always loved being outdoors and studied biology earning my Bachelor of Science degree in 1991 (Bucknell University) and my Master of Arts in Biology in 1996 (Binghamton University). After finishing my degree, I moved back to Illinois, started a family and a business while experimenting in floral design, graphic design, and photography. My photography has been used for a variety of promotional materials. After moving to Western Massachusetts in 2009, I decided to pursue my art more seriously and took classes at Greenfield Community College. In 2014 I became a member of the Zea Mays Printmaking studio in Florence, Massachusetts. My current practice involves combining photography and drawing through photopolymer intaglio printmaking.
